Western Massachusetts manufacturing briefing
Associated Industries of Massachusetts, MassMEP, and the EDC of Western Mass. will hold a manufacturing briefing on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at Chicopee Comprehensive High School in Chicopee.
The hours are 8:30-to-10:30 a.m. An examination of strategies for growing a manufacturing business in Massachusetts will be discussed including the identification of best practices, business resources, and recommendations from a study conducted last year by RTI International.
Berkshire Bank given highest grade by ratings group
Berkshire Bank received an A+ health, the highest mark possible, from DepositAccounts.com. The grade is for the bank's financial standing through the end of the third quarter of 2015.
Deposit Accounts.com evaluates the financial health of every federally insured bank in the United States each fiscal quarter.
Each institution is graded on a number of factors, including capitalization, deposit growth, and loan to reserve ratios, to determine a comprehensive health rating.
Berkshire Bank has now earned this rating for five consecutive quarters, which signifies its consistent performance in achieving exceptional fiduciary standing.
Berkshire County meetup for women in business
Jane Patton, managing partner of Hops & Vines LLC, and co-owner of Pastaria NoCo will speak at a Berkshire County Meetup for women in business on Thursday, Feb. 25 at Cloud85 co-working space, 85 Main St. The hours are 5 to 7 p.m.
