Cain, Hibbard & Myers kicks off 50th anniversary with event


PITTSFIELD -- The Pittsfield law firm of Cain, Hibbard & Myers P.C. will kick off its 50th anniversary this year with an event on Tuesday, March 25 at the Colonial Theatre.

Managing Partner Lucy Prashker will delivering a brief talk, "Dopamine, EMail and Christie-gate: How to avoid email disaster in business, government and love." The hours are 5 to 7 p.m.

Prashker, a seasoned litigator and business lawyer expert in intellectual property and health law, is a frequent lecturer on technology and Internet law.

As it celebrates its 50th anniversay, Cain Hibbard & Myers is planning to hold five community events - one for each decade. The next will be a tech-related presentation for the legal community on "e-Discovery," the challenging process of identifying and preserving, and then producing electronic data in litigation.
