Campus Notes: Simon's Rock dean's list

GREAT BARRINGTON >> Bard College at Simon's Rock congratulates students named to the spring 2016 dean's list for their outstanding academic achievement. To be eligible for this honor, students must carry 14 or more credits and achieve a grade point average of 3.5.

The following area students have earned a place on the dean's list:

• Daniel Packer, 18, of Williamstown. Packer, a junior, attended Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown before leaving to enter college early after 10th grade.

• Isley Gagnon, 18, of Lee. Gagnon, a junior, attended Lee Middle and High School before leaving to enter college early after 10th grade.

• Maia Vlcek, 18, of Great Barrington. Vlcek, a junior, attended Monument Mountain Regional High School before leaving to enter college early after 10th grade.

• Maxwell Shulman, 15, of Sheffield. Shulman, a sophomore, was homeschooled before leaving to enter college early after 10th grade.

• Trevor Turner, 18, of South Egremont. Turner, a sophomore, attended Mount Everett Regional School in Sheffield before leaving to enter college early after 11th grade.

• Alex Lederman, 16, of Pittsfield. Lederman, a sophomore, attended Berkshire Country Day Secondary School in Lenox before leaving to enter college early.
