Campus Notes: Wilke earns academic honors


Peter Wilke, son of Mike and Trisha Wilke of Pittsfield, was named to the dean's list for academic excellence at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., for both the fall 2015 and spring 2016 semesters.

To be selected for this honor, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in a program of at least 14 credits with at least 12 graded credits.

Wilke, who majored in global environmental change and sustainability, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Johns Hopkins in May. He is currently attending graduate school at Johns Hopkins.

He graduated from Pittsfield High School in 2012.
