Cases heard in Berkshire Superior Court

In Berkshire Superior Court Wednesday:

Brian Baras, 29, of Canaan, Conn. was arraigned on one count of possession of heroin with intent to distribute (second offense).

Judge John Agostini ordered him held on $5,000 bail.

The charges stem from an incident in Sheffield on March 8, 2016.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Sheffield Police Department.

Michael B. Nash, 28, of Robbins Avenue, Pittsfield was arraigned on one count of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Judge John Agostini ordered him held on $2,500 bail.

The charge stems from the execution of a search warrant at his home on March 25, 2016.

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department, state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.

Nathan R. Tatro, 42, of Goodrich Street, North Adams was arraigned on two counts of intimidation of a witness.

Judge John Agostini ordered he be held on $15,000 bail and that he have no contact with the alleged victims.

Tatro allegedly had someone open a bogus Facebook account through which messages were posted in an attempt to undermine the credibility of a witness in his open criminal matter.

The incidents allegedly took place in North Adams between Feb. 22 and April 17, 2016.

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department.

In Berkshire Superior Court Thursday:

Max B. Bohan, 25, of Maloney Street, Pittsfield was arraigned on one count each of possession of heroin with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Judge John Agostini ordered him held on $10,000 bail.

The charges stem from a raid and search in Pittsfield on March 10, 2016.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department, state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.

Caleb T. Sherman, 23, of Commercial Street, Adams was arraigned on one count each of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, assault and battery, threatening to commit a crime and malicious destruction of property.

Judge John Agostini ordered him held on $5,000 bail with the condition he have no contact with the alleged victim.

It's alleged that Sherman assaulted a 21-year-old man in Adams on March 11, 2016.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams Police Department.

Tyler C. Sherman, 23, of North State Road, Cheshire, was arraigned on one count each of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, assault and battery and malicious destruction of property.

Judge John Agostini ordered him held on $5,000 bail with the condition he have no contact with the alleged victim.

It's alleged that Sherman assaulted a 21-year-old man in Adams on March 11, 2016.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams Police Department.
