Cases heard in Berkshire Superior Court on Monday, Jan. 4

In Berkshire Superior Court Monday:

Dayanlee Bracero-Quirindo, 20, of Bradford Street, Pittsfield was arraigned on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. She was released on personal recognizance by Judge John Agostini.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at her home on Oct. 8, 2015.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force.

Merredith L. Futrell, 33, of Bracewell Avenue, North Adams was arraigned on charges of trafficking in a Class B drug (MDMA), possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. She was released on $1,500 bail by Judge John Agostini.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at her home on Nov. 3, 2015.

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force.

Brian E. Schaffer, 59, of Bradley Street, Lee was arraigned on four counts of possession of child pornography. He was released on $2,000 bail by Judge John Agostini on the condition he continue to submit to GPS monitoring.

It's alleged that Schaffer was in possession of child pornography on Aug. 1, 2015.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Lee Police Department, state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney's Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Gregory K. Thompson, 35, of Memorial Drive, Pittsfield was arraigned on two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (second offense). He was released on $3,000 bail by Judge John Agostini.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on August 27, 2015 and a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on November 16, 2015.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force.

Fantasia S. Segar, 27, of Brooklyn, N.Y. was arraigned on charges of trafficking in a Class B drug (MDMA), possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. She was released on $1,500 bail by Judge John Agostini.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at 119 Bracewell Avenue in North Adams on November 3, 2015.

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force.
