Cases heard in Northern Berkshire and Southern Berkshire district courts
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:
Nicholas Leonard, 30, of Northwest Hill Road, Pownal, Vermont, had a charge of failing to provide a DNA database sample dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.
William Malloy, 65, of Notch Road, Cheshire, had a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.
In Southern Berkshire District Court of Thursday:
Mikhail Tagole, 19, of Darlene Avenue, Pittsfield, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to two counts of assault and battery on a police officer. His case was continued without a finding until Jan. 19, 2017. Separate charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct were dismissed.
Gabrielle C. Garzone, 23, of Crystal Street, Pittsfield, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of shoplifting over $100. Her case was continued without a finding until Nov. 17, 2016. A second shoplifting count was dismissed.
The commonwealth opted not to prosecute a charge of assault and battery against Samuel M. Hubbard, 21, of West Center Street, Lee.
Lorenzo Conway, 27, of Kellogg Road, Sheffield, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to disorderly conduct. The charges were later dismissed.
Lorna M. Sundara, 45, of Water Street, Lee, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of assault and battery on a family member. She was placed on administrative probation until Oct. 20, 2016. A charge of assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed.
Jonathan S. Martin, 33, of North Adams, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to larceny over $250. He was ordered to pay $329 in restitution. He was placed on probation until Feb. 9, 2017.
