Cases heard in Northern Berkshire and Southern Berkshire district courts
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday:
Thomas Heller, 50, of Prospect Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of disorderly conduct and assault and battery. Heller was fined $50 and placed on probation for a year. A charge of class E drug possession was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth. In a separate case, Heller admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of assault and battery. He was sentenced to 30 days in Berkshire County Jail and House of Correction.
Orene Crisp, 28, of New Street, North Adams, had five counts of uttering a false check and one count of larceny under $250 dismissed upon payment of $218 in restitution.
Daniel Dobbert III, 20, of Walnut Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating under the influence that was continued without a finding for a year. Dobbert was fined $600. He was also found responsible for a number plate violation and fined $40.
Christopher Storie, 51, of Winter Street, Adams, had charges of an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.
Arthur Tatro, Jr., 50, of Water Street, Williamstown, had a charge of assault and battery dismissed upon the request of the victim.
Rebecca Harrington, 28, of Richmond, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of larceny over $250 and conspiracy that were dismissed upon payment of $428 in restitution. In Southern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday:
Paul D. Corio, 45, of Calumet Street, Pittsfield, was found guilty of one count of violation of an abuse order in connection with an incident on May 21. He was fined $50. A charge of operating without a license was filed at the request of the Probation Dept.
Deborah Babcock, 59, of Park Street, Housatonic, was found guilty of intimidation of a witness in connection with an incident on May 27. She was fined $50 and ordered to have no contact with the individual.
Christopher Roberts, 33, of West Main Street, Plainfield, was found guilty of shoplifting in connection with an incident on April 1. He was fined $100.
Alicia R. Campbell, 24, of Prospect Hill Road, Stockbridge, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol following an incident on June 16. She was fined a total of $650, ordered to complete an Alcohol Education Program and had her license suspended for 60 days. She was found not responsible to a charge of driving outside marked lanes.
