Cases heard in Northern Berkshire District

In Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:

Anthony Boone, 19, of Hull Avenue, Pittsfield, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of possessing liquor under the age of 21, subsequent offense, that was continued without a finding until June 3, 2016. He was fined $50.

Cassandra Jowett, 19, of Mohawk Forest Boulevard, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of shoplifting by asportation that was continued without a finding until Sept. 2, 2016. He was fined $50.

Harmony Thibodeau, 38, of Chase Avenue, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of larceny over $250 by single scheme that was continued without a finding until Oct. 31. Thibodeau was ordered to pay $2,340.84 in restitution and a $90 fine.

Carlos Ruiz, 35, of Abbott Street, Bennington, Vt., admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license that was continued without a finding March 3, 27. He was fined $50. A charge of class C drug possession was continued without a finding and dismissed.

Xavier Alvarez, 19, of Commercial Street, Adams, had charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Michael Robinson, 20, of Frederick Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of possessing a firearm without a firearm identification (FID) card, possessing ammunition without an FID card, improperly storing a firearm, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail, with 43 days of credit for time already served.

In a separate case, Robinson admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon that was continued without a finding until Sept. 30. He was fined $90.

On Friday:

Samantha Bevins, 30, of Hall Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle that was continued without a finding until June 6. She was fined $50.

In a separate case, Bevins admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of larceny under $250. She was sentenced to probation until August 5 and fined $50.

Sharon Marx, 60, of Houghton Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and a number plate violation that were continued without a finding until July 6. She was fined $50.

Michael Felix, 45, of Massachusetts Avenue, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of class B drug possession and class C drug possession that were continued without a finding until May 5, 2017. He was fined $50. Charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct were continued without a finding and dismissed.

Craig Miller, 49, of Edmunds Street, Adams, was found guilty of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to probation until Jan. 6, 2017, and fined $50.
