Cases heard in Northern Berkshire District Court
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:
Jennifer Estes, 40, of West Shaft Road, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of shoplifting by asportation, 3rd offense, and class A drug possession. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with seven days of credit for time already served.
Kacey Caprari, 35, of Woodlawn Avenue, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of class A drug possession that was continued without a find until June 6, 2016. Caprari was fined $50. A charge of class b drug possession was continued without a finding and dismissed.
David Taylor, 22, homeless, of North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of shoplifting by asportation that was continued without a finding until April 8, 2016.
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Friday:
Alan Griffin, 30, of High Street, North Adams, was found guilty of trespassing and shoplifting by asportation, third offense.
Elizabeth Chapman, 31, of Main Street, Pittsfield, was found not guilty of operating under the influence. She was found responsible for a marked lanes violation.
