Cases heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Feb. 9 and Feb. 10

In Northern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday:

Erik Williams, 34, of West Union Street, Pittsfield, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order that was continued without a finding until Aug. 12. He was fined $50.

In Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:

Matthew Moses, 26, of Cossayuna, N.Y., was found responsible for a single count of altering or removing a motor vehicle identification number. A second count of altering or removing a motor vehicle identification number was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Charles Hart, 50, of Fourth Avenue, Cheshire, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a person older than 60 or disabled. He was placed on probation until Feb. 10, 2017, and fined $90.
