Charcoal portraits of three veteran Shakespeare & Company actors installed at Bernstein Theatre
LENOX >> Charcoal portraits of three prominent actors from Shakespeare & Company have been formally installed in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre lobby.
Drawn during the company's 2012 run of "King Lear," the portraits depict Dennis Krausnick as King Lear, Kevin Coleman as the Fool, and Jonathan Epstein as Kent.
All three actors were at the recent installation ceremony, along with the artist, former South Egremont resident Sharon Wybrants of Brooklyn, and Krausnick's aunt, Joan McVeigh, who donated the portraits to the theater companty.
Among those representing Shakespeare & Company were general manager Stephen D. Ball and co-artistic director Ariel Bock.
