Chatham, N.Y.: Gardening expert speaks at Chatham Library

Posted

Margaret Roach, creator of the blog "A Way to Garden," will discuss "Non Stop Plants: Making a Garden for 365 Days" at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Chatham Public Library, 11 Woodbridge Ave.

The first garden editor for Martha Stewart Living, Roach preceded that position by writing numerous columns and articles on her passion for plants during long stints at The New York Times and Newsday.

In addition, Roach is the author of three books: "A Way to Garden"; "And I Shall Have Some Peace There"; and "The Backyard Parables: Lessons on Gardening and Life."

Sponsored by the Friends of the Chatham Public Library, Roach's talk is a continuation of the group's monthly Authors and Artists series. This free event is open to the public. A question and answer session, book signing, and reception will follow the presentation.
