Chatham, N.Y.: Nonviolence subject of conversation

Canaan Congregational Church and the Old Chatham Quakers are sponsoring "Theology on Tap: The Struggle to Be Human" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, upstairs at Peint O Gwrw pub, 36 Main St.

June Keener Wink, wife of the late theologian Walter Wink, will lead a conversation on nonviolence and the struggle to be a whole human being.

Wink and her husband were recipients of the 2006 Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Award from the Fellowship of Reconciliation. She will share stories about her and Walter’s work for nonviolence, justice, and a free human existence.
