Cheshire: Annual Cruz Night, fireworks slated Saturday
The Fire Department will host its annual Cruz Night and fireworks show from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, on the grounds of Cheshire Elementary School.
The Berkshire County Nite-Cruzers will provide music from the ‘50s, ‘60s and beyond throughout the day.
Other highlights include a display of custom cars, antique cars and street rods; a professional bicycle stunt show at 4 and 6 p.m.; Shut Up and Dance performance at 7 p.m., and food.
Children’s activities include a bouncy house, pony rides, dice game, and more.
Bicycle and 50/50 raffles will help defray the cost of the fireworks show which begins at 9:30 a.m. Donations toward fireworks will also be accepted at Cheshire Fire and Police Departments and The Gathering Pub and Pizzeria.
Rain date is Saturday, Aug. 16.
