Cheshire: Annual Cruz-Nite, fireworks slated Saturday
The Cheshire Fire Department will host its annual Cruz-Nite and fireworks show from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Cheshire Elementary School, 191 Church St.
The Berkshire County Nite-Cruzers will provide music from the '50s, '60s and beyond throughout the day and the band Shut Up and Dance will take the stage at 7 p.m.
Highlights include a professional bicycle stunt show at 4 and 6 p.m., a bouncy bounce, rock wall, pony rides, food, and bicycle and 50/50 raffles.
Custom cars, antique cars and street rods will be on display. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 cars and trophies will be awarded.
Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. Donations to help defray the cost of the fireworks can be dropped off at the Cheshire Fire and Police Departments.
