Cheshire: Churches join together for Christmas celebration


The public is invited to join members of the Baptist, Methodist and St. Mary's Catholic churches of Cheshire in their annual Cheshire Church Christmas beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.

Meeting in the driveway of Cheshire Elementary School, 197 Church St., all attending will decorate a large Christmas tree while singing Christmas carols. There will also be a Living Nativity in the sanctuary of United Methodist Church.

These events will be followed by refreshments of hot chocolate, coffee and goodies in the Fellowship Hall at United Methodist Church.

All are asked to bring a bird-friendly ornament.
