Cheshire: Hoosac Valley to destroy student records

In accordance with state regulations, all temporary and cumulative records for students who have graduated from Hoosac Valley High School Class of 2009 will be destroyed after Friday, Aug. 15.

Any student interested in retrieving their records may pick them up in the school’s Main Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Students who received services from the Special Education Department and wish to inquire about these records should call the Special Education Department at (413) 743-8401, ext. 1107.

The high school official transcript, which includes grades for the four years of high school, is maintained for 60 years following graduation.
