Clark baseball comes from behind to beat MCLA

WORCESTER -- David Eschen's career day powered Clark University to a 9-5 come-from-behind victory over the MCLA baseball team on Friday afternoon.

MCLA went out in front with a three-run fifth. Alon Willing, Ryan Ouimet and Jared Gersh all singled to drive in a run in the frame, giving the Trailblazers a 3-1 edge.

They pushed that to a 5-1 led on Tyler Benoit's two-run home run to left field an inning later.

MCLA's Rob Jutras came in in the fourth, pitched 3 2/3 innings and was tagged with the loss. He was charged with seven runs, four earned, on six hits. He walked four and struck out six.
