Clarksburg: Walk to benefit area veterinarian


A Tails and Trails Fun Walk/Hike to help raise money for Dr. Michelle Gorbutt Pascarelli's fight against pancreatic cancer will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Sept. 25, at Clarksburg State Park.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. or pre-register at Greylock Animal Hospital in North Adams.

Participants can complete the 3.2 mile pond loop or the shorter 1 mile loop. All dogs must be cordial with a current rabies vaccine.

The cost is $15 per person or $25 per family. The trails can be muddy; bring appropriate shoes.

Gorbutt worked as a veterinarian at Greylock Animal Hospital prior to her diagnosis.
