A fire at 30 Rhode Island Ave., Pittsfield, caused nearly $100,000 in damage, according to estimates provided to homeowner Michael Newton by his insurance agent and contractors. Fire officials provided a lower estimate in Thursday’s edition.


The Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity plans to begin its project at 166 Dewey Ave. in Pittsfield next summer. The timing of the project was incorrect in Thursday’s edition.


Mary Eastland was filling in for the union steward of Great Barrington library workers during a 2009 hearing with Town Manager Kevin O’Donnell. Her status was not clear in Tuesday’s editon.
