PITTSFIELD -- Tickets go on sale today for a Thanksgiving weekend Berkshires country music concert that will salute our nation's veterans and current military personnel.

The concert will take place Friday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. at the Colonial Theatre and will be headlined by The Spurs USA, a popular, local classic-country band that played at Guitar Jam IV at the Colonial in May and at historic Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Conn., last month.

The November show will include special guest stars and area favorites Bobby Sweet, Peter Putnam, Cindy Rines, and Beth Maturevich and Randy Cormier of the band Whiskey City.

Tickets for the event, sponsored by The Eagle and Berkshire Bank, are $12, $27 and $37 and can be purchased at the Colonial box office, at, or by calling (413) 997-4444.

The Spurs, a six-piece band, perform songs made popular by country legends Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and others.
