DA: 2 shot after altercation near Revere Beach

REVERE (AP) - Authorities say a man and a woman are being treated for gunshot injuries following an incident near Revere Beach.

Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley says it appears the victims, a 33-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, were bystanders to an altercation early Saturday outside a nightclub. He says shots were fired during the fight.

The victims were brought to Massachusetts General Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Conley said investigators interviewed several people at the scene and reviewed surveillance video but no charges were immediately filed.
