Dalton: CBRSD offers educational services for ages 16-21

Persons between the ages of 16 and 21 who reside in the towns served by Central Berkshire Regional School District, and have left or are considering leaving school without a high school diploma, may be eligible for educational services under Massachusetts and federal educational laws and regulations.

These services may include modifications to the regular high school program, counseling services, tutoring services, resource center support for regular education classes, classes recommended as a result of evaluation procedures.

Those interested in investigating any of these additional services must be referred and/or may refer themselves for a special education evaluation. The results of this evaluation will be used to determine eligibility.

Persons age 18 and above may refer themselves for an evaluation by calling the CBRSD Department of Special Services at (413) 684-2225, ext. 5101.

Persons under 18 wishing to be referred for an evaluation may contact one of the following: School official; parent or guardian; judicial officer; social worker; family physician; or the CBRSD Department of Special Services at (413) 684-2225, ext. 5101.
