Dalton: Off-Highway Vehicle safety course offered Feb. 24

Friday February 15, 2013

A Massachusetts Off-Highway Vehicle Safety and Responsibility Course will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Dalton Police Department, 462 Main St.

To legally operate an OHV in Massachusetts, operators under 18 years of age must take the OHV Safety and Responsibility Course.

The course completion certificate requires completion of two distinct courses. The first course is the online safety course offered by an approved provider. Upon successful completion of that course, the student must complete a two hour classroom course which covers the Massachusetts-specific content.
