Dalton: Program to address ‘The Aging Brain’
In partnership with Home Instead Senior Care, the Parish Nurse Ministry of St. Agnes Church will offer a program for the community that addresses memory loss and aging.
"The Aging Brain" will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in the St. Agnes School gymnasium, 30 Carson Ave.
Dr. Jay Ellis and Bobbie Orsi, RN, will explore memory loss through an interactive discussion of the brain: how memory is formed; how memory loss occurs; and how to identify when forgetting is not normal.
Discussion will include the benefits of early detection, risk factors, available treatments, the importance of caring for the caregiver, and living fully as one ages.
Information: Orsi at Home Instead, (413) 442-0907 or firstname.lastname@example.org. No registration is required.
