Dalton: Senior Center to offer a week of free exercise classes

In honor of National Falls Prevention Awareness Day on Sept. 22, the Dalton Senior Center will be waiving the $2 program coupon fee for all exercise classes that focus on balance during the week of Sept. 17 to 21.

In addition, the instructors have generously agreed to waive their fees for that week as well.

The following classes are offered:

Healthy Osteo Exercise is held on Tuesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m. (no PM class on the first Tuesday of the month), and Thursdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Shake Your Soul, a YogaDance class, is offered on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.

TaiChi is held on Thursdays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., and Yoga is held on Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m.
