HINSDALE — Residents are reminded that all dogs must be registered by May 31. A $5 late fee will be charged on overdue licenses.

State law requires all dogs six months or older be vaccinated against rabies. Dog licenses may be obtained at the town clerk's office on Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 and by appointment by calling (413) 655-2301.

Owners need to present proof of spaying/neutering and a copy of a current rabies vaccination certificate.
