East Otis man, missing since January, found dead in woods

BLANDFORD -- The body of an East Otis man, who was reported missing in January, has been found.

Gregory Dickson, 39, formerly of Chester, had been living in East Otis at the time he was reported missing on Jan. 23.

His body was found on Sunday by an East Otis resident walking his dog in the woods, according to a statement released by Otis Police Chief Roberta Sarnacki. Dickson's remains were found in a wooded area off of Otis Stage Road in Blandford, Sarnacki said. No foul play was suspected.

Dickson was last seen in the area on Jan. 9, walking near Katie's Country Store in East Otis. At the time, Sarnacki said the man may have been in need of medical attention.
