‘Growing up WILD’ educator workshop: The “Growing Up WILD Workshop for Preschool Educators” will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, in Lenox.
Sponsored by the state Division of Fisheries & Wildlife and the Massachusetts Wildlife Federation, this practical hands-on, six-hour workshop will focus on teaching about nature in an early childhood setting.

Career fair: Westfield State University will host the annual College Career Centers of Western Massachusetts Government, Criminal Justice and Non-Profit Career Fair, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. today, in the college’s Woodward Center.
The fair is free and open to the public, and welcomes students and graduates interested in the fields of federal employment, law enforcement, criminal justice, psychology, and social services.

‘Ultimate Antarctica’: Berkshire Museum will present “Ultimate Antarctica: Falklands, South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula,” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. It is the first in a four-part series of visual journeys, “An Infinite Odyssey,” as curated by Dan Mead and Sally Eagle of MeadEagle Photos (www.meadeaglephotos.com).
The museum is at 39 South St., Pittsfield.
“Ultimate Antarctica” will include images of Adélie, Chinstrap, and King penguins; glaciers, elephant seals and more. Light refreshments will be served.

‘FamiLEE Library Movies’: The FamiLEE Library movie series at the Lee Public Library will continue at 11 a.m. Saturday with a free screening of the PBS nature film, “Animal Odd Couples.” The 60-minute movie is rated G. The library is at 100 Main St., Lee.

Teen writing workshop and open mic: “Dialogue Arts Project,” a free teen writing workshop with New York Citybased poet and educator Adam Falkner will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Berkshire Athenaeum on Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield.
This program is sponsored by WordXWord, Berkshire Stonewall and the City of Pittsfield as part of “Out In The Berkshires Week.”
Celebrating diversity, this workshop is open to all teens, no prior writing experience required. Registration is recommended and can be done by emailing email@example.com.
After the workshop, Falkner will host an open mic for teens, beginning at 6 at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Ave.
