Egremont board acted properly
To the editor of THE EAGLE:
The Egremont Board of Selectmen has shown extraordinary patience with the handling of former Police Chief Reena Bucknell. They have tried for seven months to come to an amicable agreement with her with little or no cooperation. She has sidestepped the many questions they had, and refused to attend the many meetings they held with regard to her status.
I congratulate the board for its recent decision to terminate her employment. Let's get on with other issues. NANCY DUVALL
