Employees clog Lenox parking

Sunday August 5, 2012

As we all know, parking spaces in Lenox are a precious commodity, correct? Then why would business owners and employees park on the streets and not in parking lots? Every day I see shop owners and workers taking up parking spaces on Church, Main, Housatonic, Walker and Frank lin streets for the entire day while customers drive around looking for a space. This makes it difficult for people to shop here. Is that what we want?

Business owners, please tell your employees where to park. Where, you may ask? There is a parking lot on the corner of Church and Housatonic Street, behind Town Hall and behind the Berkshire Bank on Main Street.

We all want the same thing, to create an enjoyable experience for people who come to Lenox. Why not help make the parking more available?
