Thursday June 21, 2012

LENOX -- A talent search and casting call will be held tonight at Eastover Hotel & Resort for people interested in participating in the inaugural Fashion, Art, Music and Entertainment Festival next month.

The F.A.M.E. Festival is billed as Berkshire County's newest cultural celebration.

"We wanted to bring glamor, art and entertainment to the Berkshires with an experience combining fashion week and film with art and music," said event director and publicist Ciara Batory.

Batory co-founded the festival along with her brother Indashio, the international celebrity designer.

Tonight's call will take place for models and musicians and other talent at Eastover from 6-8 p.m.

The F.A.M.E. Festival aims to attract hundreds of vacationers, fashionistas, foodies, art aficionados, wine and beer connoisseurs, and music lovers to picturesque views of the Berkshire Hills at a premiere resort retreat.

Indashio will host the festivities that will include red carpet arrivals, a fashion show and a VIP after-party with special celebrity guests.

Dozens of artists will be featured at the art show and sale, which will attract exhibitors from throughout the United States. In addition to food, wine, fashion and art, the festival also has a variety of musical entertainment to be announced. Renowned Chef Guy Reuge will do the culinary teaching that weekend.

"I wanted to create a platform to showcase creative talent in the Berkshires and this festival is going to do just that on a national and international level," said Indashio.

The fashion show doors open and red carpet arrivals begin at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 20. Admission is $10 for adults and $50 for VIP front row seating.

Eastover Resort is located at 430 East St., Lenox. For additional information, go online to www.eastover.com and www.indashio.com/blog.
