Five Berkshire County squads will vie for sectional championships on Saturday, including three baseball teams.

Lenox and McCann Tech will face off in the Western Massachusetts Division IV baseball final while Wahconah will play in the Western Mass. D-III championship game.

In softball, Hoosac Valley is in the Western Mass. D-III final. Finally, Mount Greylock boys lacrosse will compete for the Central/West Mass. D-III crown.

Details of each match-up are below.

Baseball

NO. 3 LENOX VS. NO. 5 MCCANN TECH

Championship: Western Mass. D-IV

Location: UMass-Amherst

Time: 4:30 p.m.

Records: Lenox 16-6, McCann 18-5

Quick look: Neither team has been to the championship game since any of the players on either side were born. The Hornets last made the title game in 1987 while it's been since 1971 for the Millionaires. This game guarantees that Berkshire County will have at least one Western Mass. baseball champion.

NO. 4 WAHCONAH VS. NO. 3 FRONTIER

Championship: Western Mass. D-III

Location: UMass-Amherst

Time: 11 a.m.

Records: Wahconah 15-8, Frontier 17-3

Quick look: The Warriors have used a difficult regular season schedule in the Berkshire North as a springboard through the Western Mass. D-III tournament. Wahconah followed home wins over No. 13 Sci-Tech and No. 5 Monument Mountain with a wild 13-9 victory over top-seeded South Hadley for a berth in the final.

Softball

NO. 4 HOOSAC VALLEY VS. NO. 2 TURNERS FALLS

Championship: Western Mass. D-III

Location: UMass-Amherst

Time: Noon

Records: Hoosac Valley 14-7, Turners Falls 21-1

Quick look: After knocking off top-seeded and previously unbeaten Monson with a five-run seventh inning in the semifinal round, Hoosac Valley has another tall task ahead. The Hurricanes take on the defending D-III state champions and a squad that just knocked off Berkshire South champion Mount Everett.

Boys Lacrosse

NO. 1 MOUNT GREYLOCK VS. NO. 2 GRAFTON

Championship: Central/West Mass. D-III

Location: West Springfield High School

Time: 3:30 p.m.

Records: Mount Greylock 18-1, Grafton 17-5

Quick look: The Mounties are coming off an exciting 11-10 comeback victory over St. Bernard's in the sectional semis. Mount Greylock now leaves home for the first time this postseason to take on a Grafton squad that eliminated the Mounties in last year's championship game by a 12-8 scoreline.
