Frank and Lydia Libardi


Frank and Lydia Libardi of Flint's Crossing Road, Canaan, NY, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on August 24, 2016, and have lived in their home since their marriage.They were married at St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge, MA, where they are still members.

They will celebrate with their children and their spouses: Sharon and Howard McArdle of East Nassau, NY; Christine Sterritt and John Plaster of Hampden, MA; Peter and Teresa Libardi of Canaan, NY; and Eileen and Stephen Fusco of Queensbury, NY.

Frank worked on the railroad for 42 years after serving his country in WW2. Lydia worked at The Berkshire Farm for Boys for 25 years. After retirement, they traveled and spent many winters in Florida where they owned a home.

Congratulations from all of their family which includes 11 grandchildren and 7 (soon 8) great-grandchildren.
