PITTSFIELD -- Shaq Ardrey scored 27 points, including five points in overtime, as Taconic's boys edged Hoosac Valley 65-60 on Friday.

"We were down three at the half, but it was a close game," said Taconic coach Bill Heaphy. "In the overtime, Shaq had five points and Trayvon [Sims] hit two big threes."

FALLS VILLAGE, Conn. -- The runnin' Eagles blew out to a 19-6 lead after a quarter and a 40-18 margin at halftime.

"Yeah, the first half really did it for us," said Eagle coach Jowe Warren. "We got out on them and pretty much kept that margin the rest of the game."

Malik Wilbon had 20 points for the winners. Jeremy Stiewing led all scorers with 30.

Greylock 65, Monument 56

WILLIAMSTOWN -- With four scorers in double figures, Greylock erased a halftime deficit and earned a shorthanded win Friday.

Nathan Majumder's 15 points led the Mounties, who were without Tyrell Thomas. He had to sit out due to two technical fouls assessed to him against Wahconah earlier in the week.

"I thought a lot of different guys stepped up, in particular Eric Hirsch," Greylock coach Bob Thistle said. "He really ignited us in the third quarter with a couple of big baskets."

Hank Barrett scored 13 for the Mounties, followed by Tyler Picard (11) and Hirsch (10).

"Defensively, we really kept the pressure on in the second half," Thistle said. "It resulted in a lot of turnovers and a lot of one-and-dones on the other end for Monument."

Peter Oggiani led Monument with 15 points.

"We had no answers for her," said Everett coach Scott Rote.

Deseraye Conaway also had 19 for the Eagles.
