Girl, 3, killed in Randolph crash


RANDOLPH, Mass. (AP) - A 3-year-old girl has been killed in a crash involving a car and a pickup truck in Randolph.

State police say the child, a passenger in a car occupied by a man and a woman, was badly injured in the accident on Route 24 around 6 p.m. Wednesday. She was taken to Boston Medical Center where she died from her injuries. The other two people were not hurt.

A woman driving the pickup truck has been treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries

Travel on Route 24 north was reduced to one lane for more than two hours.

An investigation is continuing.
