Great Barrington: Berkshire Children's Chorus sets holiday concerts

The Berkshire Children's Chorus will present their annual holiday concerts at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at St. James Place, Great Barrington, and 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at Old Parish Church, Sheffield.

Saturday's performance will follow the downtown Holiday Stroll. This concert will feature the Senior Choir and Coda ensembles performing Benjamin Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols" as well as some other seasonal favorites.

The Junior Choir will join the two older ensembles for Sunday's performance. The groups will present their full program.

Lee Dixon and Anne Voglewede Green will accompany the choirs on piano. The group will be joined by the Rosamund Trio: Miriam Shapiro, violin; Eric Martin, violin; and Lucy Bardo, cello.

Admission is free. Donations at the door will be accepted.
