Great Barrington: Library offers Sunday programs

Posted
Because Ramsdell Library will be closed for two weeks for floor refinishing, Friends of the Great Barrington Libraries will host two Sunday afternoon library "lite" programs at the neighboring Unitarian Universal Church on Main Street, Housatonic.

Library/Lite will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 11 and 18, and includes many library offerings as well as refreshments and special programs.

On Feb. 11, book author and illustrator Adam Gudeon will demonstrate a button-making machine and a new vinyl cutter. Participants will be able to make statement buttons, bumper stickers and decals. From 1:30 to 3 p.m., The Sunday Strummers ukulele group will perform.

On Feb. 18, Friend's officer Michele Raszl will lead an afternoon program on gluten free cooking.

For more information, call Ramsdell Library at 413-274-3401 or visit http://facebook.com/FriendsGBL.
