Great Barrington: Monument Mountain announces spring musical

Monument Mountain Regional High School will perform its spring musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone," at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, March 31 to April 2, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3.

In addition to public performances, the student thespians will perform the show gratis for area senior citizens and Muddy Brook Middle School and Monument Mountain High School students.

The "show-within-a-show" story incorporates mistaken identities, dream sequences, a deus ex machina, comic gangsters, and the drowsy (i.e. tipsy) chaperone.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at MMRHS's front desk or the night of the performance.
