Great Barrington pantries were overlooked

In your Jan. 16 issue there were two wonderful articles, one about the local Martin Luther King, Jr. events and one about food pantries in the Berkshires. There was a glaring omission in each article which I would now like to correct.

A wonderful MLK event was held at the First Congregational Church, Main Street, Great Barrington on Monday from noon to 1 p. m. as it is every year, and there is a People’s Pantry located at the Calvary Christian Church, 195 North Plain Road (Route 41), Great Barrington which is open every Thursday from 9:30 a. m. to 2 p. m.

I trust that in the future reporters will include both of these in their articles. Thank you so much.
