Great Barrington: Rabies clinic slated Saturday

The town of Great Barrington, in conjunction with Seekonk Animal Hospital, is offering a rabies clinic for dogs and cats from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 12, at the Great Barrington Fire Station, 37 State Road.

The rabies vaccine costs $10 per animal. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. All vaccines will be good for one year unless a current rabies certificate is provided.

The clinic is open to residents and non-residents. The town clerk will have dog licenses available for Great Barrington and Housatonic residents.

The license fee is $5 for spayed or neutered dogs with documentation and $15 otherwise.

Proceeds benefit the Great Barrington Firefighters' Association.
