Great Barrington: Senior Center to host Holocaust program


The Claire Teague Senior Center will host "It's Lili's Story," a Holocaust program, from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, May 6, at the Center, 917 Main St.

Violinist Lili Harvitt will tell her story as a young Jewish child during the Holocaust when she was hidden from the Nazi death squads by a Dutch family in Amsterdam.

During lunch, the audience will enjoy a performance by Harvitt on violin accompanied by cello.
