Great Barrington: Yoga event to raise awareness of human trafficking

Sruti Berkshire Yoga Center will participate in "Yoga Stops Traffick," a worldwide yoga event raising awareness of human trafficking, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9. Sruti is located at 33 Railroad St.

Now in its fourth year, the 2013 events will be led by a group of young Odanadi residents from Mysore, India, many of whom are survivors of slavery, domestic abuse and forced prostitution.

A voluntary donation of $20 is requested. No yoga experience is required to participate.
