BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) -- Greyhound says it is bringing back its non-stop bus route from Brattleboro, Vt., to Boston two days a week and will use grant money to continue using Bellows Falls as a stop on a route between Springfield, Mass., and White River Junction.

The service is part of a new BusPlus program in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation aimed at increasing intercity and commuter transportation options available across New England.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports Gary Fox, the managing director of Destination Bellows Falls, says Greyhound expects to start its nonstop Brattleboro-to-Boston trips on Friday. He said the company will run the service on Fridays and Sundays.

Similar services will be provided between the Massachusetts capital and Keene and Nashua, N.H.
