Greylock awards college scholarships to 13 high school seniors


PITTSFIELD -- The Greylock Federal Credit Union has awarded a total of $6,500 to 13 college-bound high school seniors.

They each received $500 from the Credit Union’s "Treat Everyone Better Than They Expect" scholarship program. The scholarships are presented to one community-minded senior class member from each Berkshire County high school.

The scholarships are to be applied toward tuition at state-accredited or nationally-accredited two or four-year colleges or universities.

This year’s recipients include: Gabrielle Harrington, BART Charter School; Cori Ghidotti, Drury High School; Sean Ryan-Kut, Hoosac Valley High School; Katrina Snow, Lee High School;

Caroline Wilkerson, Lenox High School; Brian Dougherty, McCann Technical School; and Jennifer Marie Evans, Monument Mountain Regional High School.

Also receiving scholarships were, Natasha MacLeay, Mt. Everett High School; Jullia Vlahopoulos, Mt. Greylock Regional High School; Courtney McMahon, Pittsfield High School; Michael Goddeau, St. Joseph Central High School; Angela O’Neil, Taconic High School; and

Sara Silvernail, Wahconah Regional High School.
