"The Changing Farm" will be the topic of the Hancock Historical Commission’s 22nd gathering from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, at Hancock School.

The featured speaker is lifelong farmer Donald Leab of Ioka Valley Farm.

Delos Whitman, whose Hancock farm has been in his family for more than 200 years, will exhibit and talk about some tools and equipment used in early times. It is expected that people in the audience will join in with their own tales about agricultural experiences and changes.

Those attending are invited to bring photos, newspaper clippings and items to add to the Historical Commission’s display. Members of the Commission will be at the school at 1 p.m. to begin setting up.

Cider, coffee and goodies will round out the afternoon.
