Harris is the obvious choice
If your child has an inflamed appendix, do you call an electrician? No, you call a surgeon. If pipes in your house freeze, do you call someone with secretarial experience? No, you call a plumber.
We are about to elect a new Register of Deeds for Central Berkshire County. You have two choices: Elect a candidate with absolutely no knowledge or experience in the laws and pro cedures governing the re cording of deeds, mortgages or other real estate instruments. Or elect Pat Harris, the candidate with 28 years of experience in this discipline and who is already working in this office.
Your choice simply cannot be any easier. Vote for Pat.
The writer is 2012 president-elect, Berkshire County Board of Realtors.
