High school golf and volleyball roundup: Lee golf improves to 8-0

ADAMS — Lee took its perfect record on the road to Forest Park Golf Club Monday afternoon, and the Wildcats (8-0) left with that mark intact.

Thomas Fraser was medalist, shooting a 5-over-par 39 and leading the Wildcats to a 164-182 win over host Hoosac Valley.

Hoosac coach Jay Sniezek said he told his team that if it shot in the 160s, it would have a chance to win. That's because the Wildcats are a steady bunch.

"They're really consistent," he said. "They played a lot of irons off the tee. They had a few bad bounces or their scores could be lower."
