High school roundup: Mount Greylock girls lacrosse wins

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team extended its winning streak to 11 with a 18-12 win over Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.

The Mounties (11-0, 9-0 Berkshire League) scored 10 times in the first half, building a lead large enough to withstand the late-charging Hurricanes (4-3, 3-3).

Hoosac's Allie Mendel scored three of her five goals in the second half. Claudia Bresett had four goals. Sarah Stripp led Greylock with six goals and two assists.
